Calves are born in to the herd almost every day. A lot of work and care goes in to raising them so that they grow up healthy.
Newborns first feed from there mothers to build up their immune system.
Newborns are kept inside after they are born to keep them safe and out of the elements.
Calves are vaccinated when very young.
This is usually for the first two or three days after birth.
Here they hand fed during the day and sleep at night.
When old enough, calves are put out to graze.
